1.1 BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF GAINVEST COMPANIES ESTABLISHMENT
GAINVEST CORPORATION (M) SDN. BHD. was incorporated in 15th September 1986 by Mr. New Ching Liong with the principal activities in Building and Industrial Materials Trading. The company holds distributorships in a number of agency lines in building materials and has established vast sales networks throughout Malaysia.
To enhance and to compliment the dynamic growth in Malaysia Construction Industry, Mr. New Chee Pheng was brought in to form GAINVEST BUILDERS (M) SDN. BHD. on 22nd November 1990.
1.2 COMPANY OBJECTIVE
Over past nineteen years, Gainvest Builders is involved in providing technical project, construction & contract management services in the construction industry, in related to residential & commercial building construction, civil engineering works, infrastructure construction and specialised contracting works.
Our key objective is to provide exceptional quality products and services to our client, and achieving our client’s requirements & satisfaction. At the same time, we gives priority in human development as to improve our employees’ management & technical skills and to continue to keep abreast with the latest technological advancement in order to promote our business activities.
Recently, we have been assessed and found compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007, certified by Moody International Certification (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
1.3 COMPANY EXPERTISE
From November 1990, we have successfully managed numerous construction projects to our clients like single & double storey terrace houses, bungalows, shops, office blocks, low & high rise apartments & condominiums, schools, warehouses, factories, car showrooms & service centres, road & drainage works, highway interchanges, box girder & post-tensioned R.C bridges, R.C retaining walls, water reticulation works, sewerage works, water & sewerage treatment plants and refurbishment & renovation works.
We have vast experience and expertise to provide our client the project management, construction management and contract management services when executing the project. The management work involve planning, directing, communicating, controlling, co-ordinating and implementing a construction project based on the client’s needs, objectives and requirements with a given budget, within a specified time period and to the required quality standard.
To achieve client’s requirements, we set high standard in progress control, quality control and cost control that comprises of effective and efficient project planning and implementation, choosing suitable and economical construction methods and seeking closer co-operation with client’s consultants’ team. While others leave objective control and design control, we provide alternative design proposal and value engineering exercises as an added value service to our clients.
Besides, we have established good relationship with our sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure project completion on time.
1.4 ASSOCIATE COMPANY
GES VENTURE (M) SDN. BHD., the new subsidiary to Gainvest Builders is formed in early 2008. The new shareholders and directors, Mr. Chu Yee Hong, Mr. Wong Yih Ming and Mr. Yap Kek Siung are responsible in overseeing the company core business in building and civil engineering related project. GES Venture also provides project management services to small & medium size projects and upgrading/renovation projects. Thus, we will act as a project consultant to monitoring the progress of the project, from project planning, implementation, procurement till the project roll out successfully and handover to our clients.
